Through her leadership, the Parks and Recreation Board successfully championed spaces and programs that brought our residents closer together. Karen’s tireless volunteer work embodied the true spirit of community service.
Our hearts go out to Karen’s family and loved ones during this time. Karen’s impact on Penn Township cannot be understated, and she will be deeply missed by all of us who had the privilege of working alongside her.
Karen Tilkens’ Celebration of Life will be held Friday, July 17, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Duncannon EMS Building.
